Everything has a charge. An electric field of charge.
Reflections and beauty in a puddle of dirty water. New dimensions in everyday, familiar sights – these are what enthuses this photographer. And that he communicates.
Like an electric red early dawn in Stockholm, Sweden with elements of Fripp and Eno, it was around about there somewhere it started. Inspired by musicians such as Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Radiohead, Bryan Ferry, Van Der Graaf Generator and David Bowie. And his other homeland, Italy. After studying art and film in Rome, Mauro Rongione headed to New York where he trained as a photographer at the International Center of Photography.
A few decades and exhibitions later, he has photography and film commissions around the world that focus on people, architecture, design, art and nature. Naked and stripped bare, or with the aid of a fireworks cabinet of artistically employed techniques. This is how he explains the inner dynamics of everything.
